It's Texas Independence Day!

On March 2, 1836, Texas declared its independence from Mexico, formed a separate nation, and created the Republic of Texas.

Texas Independence Day is the celebration of the adoption of the Texas Declaration of Independence on March 2, 1836. Some of our ancestors moved to Texas prior to the Texas Revolution or during the time Texas was a Republic (1836-1846) So just remember, that each of us who are descendants have a bit of Texas in our DNA.
