Welcome to clmroots

My ancestors were the colonists, frontiersmen, pioneers, and cowboys - with a few scallywags thrown in - who helped settle and establish this great country we live in.
The clmroots blog was created to share family history stories and research findings, so that cousins, grandchildren, and descendants may come to know their ancestors.
I believe that if we all work together, we will have a more complete family history to leave for our posterity. clm 2008

About Me

Family is the heart of my life. Family History started out as an interest and obligation to get to know my ancestors, then it became a need to know and find the stories of all those who came before me and helped to make me who I am. Finally, it became an all consuming passion. My name is Cathy and I would love to hear from you.
